Take a video tour of Brambleberry

A special, unique Western Wisconsin vacation destination

Brambleberry is a real Wisconsin bed and breakfast that has been named one of the state's best eco-elegant inns by the Wisconsin Department of Tourism. Wisconsin's most affordable, romantic country weekend getaway is a one-of-a-kind destination in itself. Our romantic English/Scottish country manor inspired home has all the Brambleberry's English Country Roomcharm of a small English country house hotel and provides couples with a blissfully comfortable, intimate, sanctuary retreat in which to relax and reconnect. (No children or pets allowed.)
A whole other world away, Brambleberry has English farm ambiance, complete with the pastoral view of grazing sheep and Scottish Highland cattle.
It's the perfect place for that special anniversary, short vacation or a wedding night. We accept bookings for Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights. The B&B is closed Monday through Thursday nights. We are also open extra days over the July 4 holiday. May 24 through Oct. 21, 2013 we require a minimum two-night stay. One-night stays will be permitted if one day remains on a weekend when someone else has booked a two-day stay or if you book after noon Thursday for the upcoming weekend, subject to availability.

Our affordable rates range from $99 to $169, depending on room amenities. All five of our charming guest rooms have private, attached bathrooms. Our Wedgwood room can accommodate three guests. Whether you're looking for an inexpensive clean room with comfortable bed or an intimate, romantic retreat with double whirlpool, fireplace, luxurious canopy bed, satellite TV, DVD player and movies, we've got it.

Brambleberry is so much more than a typical Wisconsin bed and breakfast. We are a leader in Wisconsin agritourism. We raise Scottish Highland cattle, Scottish Blackface and Suffolk sheep, pigs, chickens and field crops. There are plenty of cute lambs for guests to visit and pet. Here's a video of a lamb being born. Organic produce, a home orchard, small vineyard and maple syrup production are also part of our diverse Wisconsin farm bed and breakfast operation. We are in the process of licensing a winery facility. Guests may preview some of the wines we will be offering.

Experience the peace and quiet of our private nature trails. Peruse our book and video library, munch on buttery Scottish shortbread and sip our homemade country wines. Our special home-cooked, full-candlelight breakfast -- which always includes at least one item grown or produced here on the farm -- is the highlight of an enjoyable stay.

B&B guests can even make arrangements to have dinner at the inn. Brambleberry is one of only two Wisconsin B&Bs that offers dinner to guests. Our special Saturday night multi-course dinners Brambleberry's dining roomare served year round. Friday is pizza night and Sunday is pasta night.
We're the first and only Wisconsin B&B that offers special harvest dinners. This year's dinners will begin July 20 and continue through September. These feature our own homegrown produce from our organic kitchen gardens. About 80 to 90 percent of the meal is grown on site, the remainder sourced locally.
The dining room is not open to the general public.
During the growing season, Brambleberry serves more organic produce grown on site than any other Wisconsin bed and breakfast. Guests can literally be "in touch" with their food source. Separate reservations for the scheduled Saturday night 7 o'clock dinner or any other weekend dinners need to be made by noon Wednesday (before we grocery shop) if you wish to participate. Check out our dinner page for the menu schedule.
